This is the preferred method of installation. If you follow this exactly you should have no trouble at all.
Download PIRCH98S.EXE and save it in a temporary folder on your hard drive. The desktop is a good place. When the download is complete, browse to the folder in which you saved the PIRCH98S.EXE file and double-click it to start the Pirch98 installation. You will be prompted to enter a directory, enter C:\BATTLE2. You may install Battle Angel 2 into any directory you wish, this however is the default script folder, so it's best not to choose anything different unless you are familiar with this type of thing.
Once you have installed Pirch98, download Battle Angel 2 from the download page. Save it to a temporary directory on your hard drive. When the download is complete, browse to the folder in which you saved the script install file and double-click it to start the installation. You will be prompted to enter a directory. Unless you installed Pirch98 into a different folder, accept the default. Continue to follow the on screen instructions until the process is complete.
If you have followed these instructions properly you will be able to run Battle Angel 2 from the Windows Start menu. You will also notice that the installation program has created shortcuts for the add-on programs as well. Feew free to experiment as you wish, these programs should prove to be useful.
The first time you run the script, the Setup dialog will open. You should use this utility to customize the script to your liking. A help file is provided for the Setup dialog, available by pressing the Help button. This file gives detailed information on all aspects of the Setup utility. You may also run setup at any time by selecting "Setup" from the server or channel window popups, in the "Battle Angel" section.
