If you do not know who or what "Battle Angel" is, here's the story. There's this anime/manga series called "Gunnm", or "Battle Angel Alita". I forget where or when I first heard of it, but it sounded interesting, so I looked around several video stores until I found one for rent. I watched it and loved it. It's about this cybernetics doctor guy who finds this left over scrap heap of a battle cyborg which is still partially intact. He takes her home and rebuilds her and names her "Gally". One day she finds out the he (Dr. Ido) is a "Hunter Warrior" who hunts and kills the "bad guy" cyborgs and she think's it's a really noble idea so she wants to be one too. Ido won't let her so she goes all Thelma and Louise on him and becomes one anyway. This is when the story gets really good. See, Gally still has all of her "battle" programming left inside her. She's a totally unstoppable machine. She goes postal on an epic level and starts offing bad guys in record numbers, which kinda draws some attention to her. She doesn't care though cuz she's completely WWF. Another thing I should mention is that Gally falls in love with a human boy but he gets killed although she does everything she can to save him (it's his own fault he dies though).
This is my inspiration for this script. I wanted a script like Gally. Something that was sadistcally powerful but still had a heart.
